Why Bother with an HVAC Tune-Up?I hear it all the time. “My system is working fine, why get it checked? Is it just a waste of time and money?” There are many things responsible people do that may not seem to benefit them in the short term, but in the long run save us from dealing with more serious problems.
When my children were growing up, we took them to the pediatrician every year for a wellness check. Twice a year they were off to the dentist for cleanings. Thankfully, we encountered nothing beyond a few cavities and the need for a set of braces. But if something were going on, it would have been discovered before it got worse.
Yes, I know, a child’s health isn’t comparable to a tune-up on that old furnace, but they could be related. A dirty furnace, or one with a cracked heat exchanger, could be a fire waiting to happen or carbon dioxide danger to your home. Talk about your long-term negative consequences!
Hopefully none of us will have to deal with anything that severe; maybe that old furnace will only break down on a cold night, but why take a chance? We’re finally experiencing winter weather in all of its frosty glory, and our furnace or heater is getting a workout. Let the experts at Spencer Air conduct a preventive checkup to make sure it’ll be in good shape on the days and nights when we’re counting on it for your family’s comfort and safety.

Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
